Fishy Things to do in Hull

Finally Half Term for the rest of us, whilst the rest of the country are back at school, we are enjoying
a weeks break with the kids.

So for all of you that haven't decided to take advantage of the cheap holidays, here is a round up of just some of the things you can do.

Hull Museums which are always free and fantastic to visit have loads of great events on. For all the details look here.
My favourite are creating a 3D fish model, but there are lots of other crafty things and story sessions.
In keeping with the fishy theme, The Deep is another place worth a visit. You can meet Frankie the 12ft talking frog!

This weekend in York sees the end of the week long Jorvik festival
http://www.jorvik-viking-centre.co.uk/viking-festival/ has details of all the events, but it is worth making sure you have tickets in advance as the queues at these events are usually massive.

Personally I think this half term is a great time to go slightly further afield as it is only Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire have their half term this week, the rest have already had it.
