Pantos, Ice Hockey and Ploughing, plenty for everyone

Robinson Crusoe is on this weekend.
The pantomine is put on by BBC Look North and Radio Humberside presenters and is raising money for Children in Need. They had an excellent opening night and there are still a few tickets tickets left for the panto at the Middleton Hall in Hull for the Saturday and Sunday 7pm shows - call 01482 300300 to book.

Why not support our local ice hockey team. Hull String Rays are playing Cardiff Devils at 6pm on Sunday 29th January at Hull Arena.

For something more bizare, Muston Young Farmers Club will be holding their Annual Ploughing Match on Sunday January 29 at Thwing, by kind permission of Philip Clarkson. Ploughmen will be descending on the Wolds village to show their skills in several classes including vintage, conventional and reversible and commercial classes.
All entries will be on the day which starts at 9am.
Admission is free to spectators and refreshments will be available on the site.
Directions will be available off the B1253.
