Street parties and Humber Diamond Jubilee Flotilla

There's an excellent village street party being held in Newbald between 2 and 4pm. The Newbald Beer festival is still going on.
If today's flotilla has made you fancy watching one closer to home, hopefully with less rain, then

The Humber Diamond Jubilee Flotilla at the Hessle Foreshore

should be perfect. It is on from 3pm to 7pm. There will be lots of music especially folk and sea shanties as well as more indie music. The flotilla should set sail from Hessle foreshore at 6pm.

Monday night will also see the lighting of all the regions beacons, there is one on the Humber Bridge and the  Beverley Minister to name a few
